NEWS BEYOND AFRICA – Gaming/Entertainment

Marvel’s Avengers – To be or not to be

In September of 2020, Marvel’s Avengers was released into the gaming world and some liked it, others not so much. The game was praised for its great plot, which loosely followed that of the Marvel Cinematic Universe whilst also incorporating elements of the much loved Marvel comics. But there wasn’t much praise for its gameplay.

In a bid to fix that and keep players playing, Square Enix have updated the game several times and expanded on the stories. The most recent story expansions include Kate Bishop and Operation: Future Imperfect which brings Hawkeye into the forefront.

Now in a further attempt to upgrade the game and keep it alive, Square Enix will be releasing a new story expansion titled War for Wakanda.

Marvel’s Avengers War for Wakanda

War for Wakanda will introduce T’challa, King of Wakanda aka Black Panther as a playable character in Marvel’s Avengers. The new story expansion will also allow players to explore more of the kingdom of Wakanda within the game.
