Rwanda Set To Host The Next X Box Game Camp

The Rwanda Game Developers Association’s mission is to raise awareness about the opportunities available in the gaming industry to developers and gamers alike. They also aim to expand the reach of games made in Rwanda and Africa.

One of the ways they have done this is by beginning talks with X Box Games representative, Peter Zetterberg and Jonas Martensson from Mojang Studios on hosting the next X Box Game Camp.

The Xbox Game Camp seeks to enable marginalized communities to realise their potential in the gaming industry and successful game communities and industries all over the world.

As reported by CEO of Digital Realm Entertainment, Thomas Shiva the Xbox Game Camp is still in the planning and administrative stage and is likely to take place next year.

Paperboat Animation’s Metaverse Project

Toronto-based studio, Paperboat Animation Studio has announced the upcoming production of a “metaverse-centred franchise”. Titled, Tattva 118 franchise seeks to create a innovative form of edutainment that humanizes the 118 elements of the periodic table

This multiform project will begin with the release of NFTs and then branch out into a television series, game and an animated film suitable for all age ranges.

Tattva 118 is just one of three projects that the studio is working on. The other two include a 3D animated film titled, Kabuliwala adapted from a short story by Rabindranath Tagore and an adult web-series titled, Itch that explores the effects living in a megacity has on humanity.
