So weve been busy over the last year.  Comexposed has held 4 comic book based events since April 2015 to date namely Comexposed Convention 2015, Comic Book Day (CBD) 1, CBD 2, and Comexposed Convention 2016.  Every event has been a resounding success sparking interest and participation in the Zimbabwean (and African) comic book industry but are all these events the same or are they somehow different?  This is the question many fans and creators alike have asked time and time again so I thought Id set the record straight and fill in the gaps.

Firstly what is the Comexposed Convention?  The Comexposed Convention (ComXcon) is the premier gathering place for all fans, creators, investors and observers of the Zimbabwean Comic Books and Digital Arts industry.  It is an annual event where vendors get to sell their geek/nerd wears, artists show their latest projects, publishers release and sell new content, gamers battle for supremacy, industry leaders breakdown their amazing projects and cosplayers get to run free.

Comic Book Day (CBD) is the Zimbabwean Comic Book Marketplace.  This is the largest gathering of comic book creators and publishers in Zimbabwe selling directly to the fans.  CBD is designed as a proxy to the comic book store (which does not exist yet in Zimbabwe) giving creators an avenue for distribution and fans a regular access point.

So those kind of sound the same right?  Well lets run through them and check out the comparisons.
